Schoolin Life Podcast

Nov 28, 2017

On this week's episode we talk "rooting for everybody black" and supporting black businesses,  projects, and people. Black excellence seems to be at an all time high and it's exciting to see so many black people blowing up in everything from small businesses to TV & film. Plus, with holiday shopping season upon us this seems like the perfect time to support "us". However, what happens when black-owned businesses offer sub-standard service and/or products? Or what about when a black artist creates work that you don't like? Is there pressure to "root for everybody black" even when we don't mean it...if so how do we deal?

On this week's episode we interview CaShawn Thompson, creator of Black Girls are Magic
