this week’s episode, we talk performing for others. If we’re being
honest, we’ve all played a game or two. The good girl, the strong
friend, the devoted wife, the gay best friend—these roles are
familiar and may be comfortable for us to step into, in order to
maintain important relationships. Nothing is wrong with playing the
part, per say, but it’s important not to let others typecast you
based on their needs or expectations. The struggle comes when
others are disappointed that you aren’t being the person they need,
and you have to decide if the role should become larger than your
true personality. Listen as we talk about the games people play and
